Brief wrestling biography

Dr. Saam Falahati is the Chief Medical Officer of the National Governing Body of Olympic Wrestling for Great Britain. He is also a certified United World Wrestling (UWW) Physician since 2019, having been Competition Doctor for several high-profile competitions such as the Senior World Championships in 2021 in Oslo and 2022 in Belgrade. He was also Doctor at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham for wrestling. Dr. Saam is the first ever British Member of the UWW Medical Network of Doctors. He created the first ever medical guidelines for competitions for British Wrestling as well as the first concussion guidelines. He is also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow Medical School and has presented at multiple international conferences on sports medicine.
