Brief biography of wrestling:
Date of Birth: June 9, 1966
Birthplace: Santa Clara
Profession: Graduate in Physical Culture. Master in Physical Activity in the Community, Doctor in Physical Culture Sciences.
He attended primary school at the Pablo Casanova semi-boarding school in Noa, continuing his secondary and pre-university studies at the Hector Ruiz Perez Sports Initiation School (EIDE) in Villa Clara.
He participates in the national school games in the 13 to 14 year old category where he obtains a silver and a gold medal, in the youth category in 1980 he obtains the silver medal. In 1986 he participated in the senior national championship where he obtained a prestigious fourth place. In 1990 he started as a provincial wrestling referee. In 1994 he graduated as a national referee in the first higher category, participating in:
16 National Pioneer Cups.
16 National School Games.
14 National Youth Olympics.
11 National Team Tournaments under 20 years of age.
11 First Category National Championships.
13 International Tournaments (Granma and Cerro Pelado).
Coach for more than 21 years at the July 26 team. Winner of several municipal and provincial championships, and national pioneer cups promoting wrestlers for high performance centers in both sexes and categories.
In 1995 he began his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Culture at the Manuel Fajardo Rivero Faculty of Villa Clara in the course modality by meetings.
Regarding the activity of science and technological innovation, he has developed a group of useful and proven solutions. He is a member of the research project Teaching and Perfecting the Way of Combat in Combat Sports of the Faculty of Physical Culture of the Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas.

He has received numerous specialty and postgraduate courses aimed at basic and specialized training in different subjects, as well as the courses that are part of the curricular design of the doctoral program in Physical Culture Sciences of the Faculty of Physical Culture of the Central University “Marta Abreu” from Las Villas.
In 2020 he defends his doctoral thesis called: System for the evaluation control of technical-tactical actions during the combat of the school wrestler.
